Call for opens and IBIS related patent disclosures:

- None

AR Review:

- Mike add a quail to correct open sink/source in IQ spec 5.6.2
  - Done

- Bob conduct tests of parser behavior for test keywords
  - No tests yet

New items:

QUAIL
Mike showed QUAIL 1
- It is marked PENDING
- Mike: We do not have a process yet for approving these
- Bob: We could test Mantis with this
  - There may be access issues with Mantis
- Mike: There is a question whether to have one category for IQ or for each
  version
  - Prefer just one
- Bob: We should not let this overcomplicate things

AR: Mike post QUAIL
AR: Mike suggest QUAIL process at open forum

Mike showed the 
- Greg: What is the purpose of this?
- Mike explained the External Test proposal
- Mike: Should we bring in someone to explain EMD or MCP?
- Bob: The interconnect group voted to suspend MCP
  - We are too busy with other matters
- Mike: Do we:
  a) Give up on External Test right now
  b) Explore interconnect protocols on our own
  - This group operates somewhat independent of others
- Bob: We should keep this simple
- Mike: We could work on the correlation spec too
- Greg: We are trying to provide enough information to reconstruct results
- Mike: We should allow the EDA tool to use it's built in circuit
  generation mechanism as much as possible
  - Handing it an entire SPICE circuit might not be the right approach
- Bob: We are testing the tool as well as the IBIS model
- Mike: Are there any summit presentations on EMD or MCP to look at?
- Bob: Arpad had a multi-lingual proposal too

AR: Bob collect links to interconnect proposal documents for next meeting
